Evan beat 6 other candidates to win the category Apprentice of the Year for an "individual who has made significant progress in their apprenticeship".

A highlight of his nomination has been a significant reduction in machine cycle times which Evan has achieved through careful re-programming of the machine tools.

Successful apprenticeships reflect Westcombe's commitment to training our staff and Evan will be completing his Level 3 apprenticeship this summer and become another fully qualified member of our workforce.
